Beautiful Aurora is searching for a calm and loving forever home where she can enjoy all the comfort, care, and love she deserves in her golden years. 💕
Aurora may be a senior lady, but she still enjoys getting out and about, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her people. She walks beautifully on the lead and is an absolute pleasure to take out for gentle adventures.
At the moment, Aurora is a little unsteady on her back legs, so she will need shorter, slower walks while she gradually rebuilds the muscle in her back end. Despite this, she remains bright, loving, and eager to enjoy life.
Although Aurora is absolutely fine around other dogs when out and about, she would prefer to have her own space at home and is therefore looking for a home where she can be the only dog in the household.
Aurora knows her basic commands, is very food motivated, and still enjoys learning for tasty treats. She is a gentle, loyal soul who would make a truly wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving best friend by their side. 🐾

💔💔🥲🥲🥲💔 FIFTH NIGHT WITHOUT ELEANOR 💔🥲🥲🥲🥲💔💔

It has now been five nights since Eleanor was stolen and our hearts are breaking more with every passing hour 💔💔💔💔
Tomorrow some of the MLHR team are heading to Appleby Uk, one of the largest horse fairs. Different groups of us will be travelling across to the UK, with the first team leaving at first light. We will search every corner, every road, every field, every place we can. If Eleanor is there, we will find her.
We cannot thank the UK police, UK rescue organisations, and everyone who has reached out enough ❤️
The support has been incredible, and it is helping us keep going through what feels like our darkest days💔
The truth is that we are devastated. We haven't slept. We are exhausted, heartbroken, and terrified. Eleanor is not just an animal to us, she is family. All we want is our girl home where she belongs.
We have been incredibly fortunate that three kind hearted people have pledged an additional €1,000 reward towards Eleanor's safe return. Their generosity means more than words can ever express.
At the same time, we are facing huge costs. We are now arranging round the clock volunteer patrols, improving security, and trying to secure fencing around our perimeter to help prevent anything like this from ever happening again.
The costs are mounting rapidly while our resources are being stretched to the limit.
This nightmare has taken an enormous emotional and financial toll, but we will not stop searching…EVER 💔❤️

‼️URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTION PLEASE ‼️ ELSIE is a blind female Sprocker Spaniel born in the UK in January 2026. She was born with microphthalmia (small eyes) so will never be able to see, & is typical of her breed - very vivacious indeed! BDRUK are looking for an experienced home for Elsie, somewhere she can experience the firm boundaries that she needs, training, routine, patience, & with someone around for most of the time. A home that will enjoy going back to basics with her & putting training in place. Elsie can live with other dogs but it is not known how she is with cats.

@talesfromtherin Nice one James, sometimes real life gets in the way. You had the same top 3 as me for all time heavyweights, I would also have Lennox Lewis, Holyfield, Liston, Dempsey, Jack Johnson, Marciano and one other in there too (Mike Tyson or Frazier probably).

• Lived with a male cat before… but he did enjoy a good chase around the house 😅 (would do best in a cat-free home)

Oh Jack… where do we even start? This boy is just pure sunshine wrapped in fur. The moment he sees someone he likes (which is basically everyone), his whole face lights up and he lets out the most adorable happy little whine – it’s impossible not to melt!

He’s a total people-person (or people-dog?). He lives for cuddles, gentle pets, and just being close to his humans. After surviving tough days on the streets and then spending far too long tied up in a garden (which dimmed his sparkle for a while 💔), he’s finally in a safe, cozy pension where his true personality is blooming again – and wow, is it beautiful.

Jack has the gentlest soul, endless love to give, and the snuggliest hugs you’ll ever get from a dog. He’s simply waiting for his people – the ones who’ll never chain him, never leave him behind, and who’ll let him love them with his whole big heart every single day.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who greets you like you’re the best thing that ever happened to him (every time you walk through the door), Jack is your guy. He’s ready to come home and make every day brighter. 🏡❤️

Most council pounds in the UK, won't let the public adopt. They will say they do not have the resources to assess all dogs or potential homes.
Rescue shelters in the UK are full.
We already have more dogs than homes, people still selfishly or naively buying puppies online, with no research, commitment, or welfare checks on mum.

We are struggling to cope with the number of animals coming into our care every day. 💔💔💔💔Dogs are arriving in need of safety, but we have simply run out of space.
Our kennels are full. Our foster homes are full. Our hearts are breaking.
The hardest part is knowing there are animals in emergency situations and having nowhere for them to go.💔💔
If you have room in your home and space in your heart, you can quite literally save a life.
We desperately need more foster homes right now.
We are in the middle of one of the worst dog welfare crises we have ever seen, and the need has never been greater.
