@kiltullaghfarm @galwayfarm They can see a big shortage coming I think towards the back end of the year. They are driving prices down now to knock the prices of stores in marts to be able to fill feedlots cheaply. Delaying kill stretching the beef that’s there to fill this gap as long as they can.

Weanlings still way ahead of were they should be given the current beef price. Hopefully there’ll be a lift later in the year. Otherwise be a lot of empty pockets
