@newyjetsfanews Yes! Need to see Badolato some more but Iโve essentially got the same list. Going to try and make a few youth games over the next couple of months to see some of the others. Think weโll have 7-8 scholarships in the end.
@Jetstragic@newyjetsfanews@marcothejourno Maybe. I wonder if Grozos and Shaughnessy (assuming he exercises his option) can play together, and if not would you sign your club captain to be a backup CB?
Took a while to find the right CB pairing last season. So they may opt for a mobile left-footed Natta replacement.
Academy product signs on !!!!
Newcastle Jets have announced that Academy Graduate Oliver Cockle has signed a scholarship contract with the Club.
Congratulations Oil

@JamesGardiner42 I agree. Personally, Iโd keep both but if a record offer comes in Iโm sure theyโd be interested. Same situation with James Holland in 2008.
Massive respect to a group of players who helped create some great memories for football fans in the region.
Saddest to see Kota go. His arrival, followed by Millsy obviously, started this era.
A bit surprised by Bracco. Feel for him with that injury!๐ข
The rest 100% expected.
@Jetstragic Yeah I could see all that happening. Will depend on $ for most.
The case for:
Aquilina - versatile. Was monitored for Socceroos a year ago. Unlucky with injury.
Kota - experience might help in Champos + can help recruit.
Nkomo - need a back-up LB, has upside.
Might as well join the Newcastle speculationโฆ
Expect to go: Rose (confirmed), Natta (good on him), Taylor (plz go test yourself in Europe/Asia), Bayliss (sad, but fair play to him), Grozos, Gibson, James, Fryer, Scicluna, Van Dorssen.
You listen to offers for Adams and Dobson.
Bring in: striker (May? dream would be Kota bringing in Takuma Nishimura), defender (JCP?), central midfielder (Rufer?), attacking midfielder (Hollman?). Cockle, Debono, Goodwin on scholarships - more of those to come.
