It doesn’t seem like it. The hospital and ambulance systems are worse off. The people are worse off per capita. The State has higher debt than ever.

Anyone with an ounce of wisdom understands that people have complex motivations but the biggest driver is perceived self-interest including the interests of our family or the community we belong to.
