A big thank you to Tim Sheahan and Mark Icuss for the tour of the Fulton Bond Sales Gallery at 231 N Ada St in Chicago, IL.

Fulton Bond is not just an address; it is a permanent mark on Chicago's skyline. This collaborative masterpiece by Sulo Development bridges Fulton Market's industrial grit with the peak of modern refinement. Every monumental arch, clean line, and tailored finish honors the storied past of this historic district while serving the ambitions of Chicago's elite.

Benís and I are looking forward to heading to New Orleans for Compass RETREAT, one of our favorite Compass traditions. Every year, RETREAT reminds me of what makes Compass so special: the people!

And Neda and I are also excited to announce next year’s RETREAT destination. Any guesses?

We can’t wait to see you in New Orleans!

I’ve heard a consistent theme from so many of our top agents: Listing a property first as a Private Exclusive for a period of time is better for sellers and for buyers. Here are 10 ways to explain the value of a Private Exclusive to a seller in their living room.

It was a pleasure sitting down with Ginger Wilcox, President of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, yesterday at The Better Retreat in Las Vegas. The energy, connection, and commitment to showing up for one another are what make this network special. Thank you, Ginger, for having me!

Over the last two years I've spoken with thousands of top real estate professionals who tell me they pitch Private Exclusives at every listing appointment, that private exclusives are the best listing tool they have, and that it can be the answer to almost every seller's objection in the living room. Today, I'm going to share the top five client objections that they hear in listing appointments and the exact words they use to overcome them with Private Exclusives.

Every single member of CRMLS’s Board of Directors is a direct competitor of Compass, and they are dictating how Compass and our agents can and cannot compete, how our agents can and cannot serve their clients, and how homeowners can and cannot publicly market their own homes. Rather than allowing the homeowner to choose how to publicly market their home, with the advice of their trusted agent, CRMLS issues fines of up to $2,500 any time a real estate agent follows their client’s lawful instructions to publicly market their property outside of CRMLS.

MLSs serving more than 350,000 brokers and agents in at least 12 states do not fine or punish agents for publicly marketing homes outside of the MLS as their clients lawfully instruct. Only the law and the homeowner should tell agents how to publicly market a home, and CRMLS is neither the law nor the homeowner.

We are proud to stand by our California real estate professionals and their clients.

Grateful for a meaningful night with my wife and good friends, in support of America Needs You, a non-profit I founded 17 years ago to provide mentorship, career development and college support to low income students who are first in their families to go to college.
