The Ultra 1 lacks the modern, dedicated 4-core Neural Engine introduced in the S9 and S10 generations.

The S8 chip does not have the hardware required to handle on-device AI workloads seamlessly.

I suppose Apple could have simply locked specific, heavy features behind a hardware wall.

I mean they've designed IOS 26 and 27 to run on older iPhones without the features.

Being left out of a major OS cycle this early feels incredibly anti-consumer.

Completely agree with you, Steve.
There is a massive difference between a bot account blindly scraping clips and someone spending hours matching audio, timing sound effects, and delivering original voiceover.

Beautiful UI concept, but the technical claim feels like pure engagement bait.

Stripping hidden Unicode/soft hyphens from text is trivial string deletion, but clearing SynthID from an image on-device isn't something a sandboxed third-party iOS app can cleanly do without completely destroying the pixel structure.

Unless this is just a metadata stripper under the hood?
