Our red panda kits have names! ❤️ Introducing Katara (left) and Sokka (right) Inspired by the iconic brother–sister duo from Avatar: The Last Airbender!

These tiny siblings are already showing big personalities, and we can’t wait to share more of their journey as they grow.

Please enjoy some sweet behind-the-scenes moments with new mom Zan and her twin kits as they have grown these last few months. 🥰

🐾 Trying to follow in mom’s footsteps isn’t always easy… but our red panda boys are figuring it out one step (and stumble) at a time.

Two male red panda cubs that make "huff-quacking" noises are born at a Tennessee zoo.

✨WE HAVE RED PANDA CUBS!✨

We can’t keep this secret any longer… Two male cubs have joined the Zoo Knoxville family, and they’re almost ready to make their public debut! 🎉

The cubs have spent the first 3 months of their lives tucked safely in their den with their mom, Sisu, as they grow and learn to climb. First-time mother Sisu has been incredible, caring for them and helping them reach every milestone.

It’s been nearly 5 years since we’ve welcomed red panda cubs, and more than a decade since visitors have had the chance to see them raised by their mom.

We can’t wait to share them with our guests — which could be any day now! It’s up to Sisu when the cubs will poke their heads outside, so make sure you stop by and see if they’ve made their debut. 🐾

🔊 Sound on: Don’t miss a real red panda cub “huffquack” — one of the rarest (and cutest) sounds you’ll ever hear!

Henry Mancini performs the iconic "Pink Panther Theme" in 1983 with Plas Johnson, the original saxophonist, and the Terry Gibbs Band.

RIP George Wendt. Enjoyed him in literally everything, but what he created with Norm Peterson stands the test of time. Just a crucial piece of one of the best 30-min shows ever.

The last Cheers scene ever was Norm with Sam… and it kinda had to be.

I think about this passage from David Lynch's Catching the Big Fish all the time

Every time I watch It’s A Wonderful Life I never fail to cry, and then I think of this as Lynch himself swells up in tears. Rest in Peace.

We remember and honor the incredible life of James Earl Jones. As the first celebrity guest to appear on Sesame Street, he forever shaped how we reach both children and their caregivers. His timeless contributions to education, entertainment, and the arts have left an indelible mark on generations. Thank you for being part of our street, Mr. Jones. 💛💚
