@SamuelWBell@PFNeronha Lowering the ACP isn't really a big issue, it's a price ceiling not a penalty. Electric distros paid ~$12 in 2024 for each REC, much cheaper than even the new proposed ACP price.
We still have a surplus of RECs, ACPs made up less than 1% for the RES in 2024.
The City of Providence's first-ever Green Revolving Fund was officially signed into law last week by Mayor Smiley and we are excited to report that with this dedicated funding, we have four solar arrays scheduled for installation in 2026 and early 2027, with installation kicking off at Roger Williams Park Maintenance Facility!
Investing in on-site solar systems further reduces emissions and operating costs by supplying clean electricity directly to municipal facilities. Learn more about the City's decarbonization efforts at https://t.co/yIvB6viIvn

The greatest harbinger of end times is not plague or war, but the sudden enormous proliferation of Xerox-quality POD editions (unmarked! no warning!) from houses like Penguin.

RHODE ISLAND — The country's smallest state covered for its biggest local stories: the 2003 Station nightclub fire (fireworks, burns), a long-running lead-paint lawsuit, and a recent shooting at Brown.
on Amazon I have discovered a book called "Infinite Jeffs" which is apparently a copy of Infinite Jest where each word has been replaced with the word "Jeff"
Why do mainstream media orgs refuse to link to relevant court docs? The EEOC is suing NYT for allegedly discriminating against a white male (!), but you can't just read the suit yourself in any of the coverage from... Washington Post, New York Times, Reuters, Axios, and The Intercept. Frustrating.
(At @reason we link to stuff. Here.)

As a reminder, Europe was discovered on March 4th, 1493, when indigenous Taino people arrived in Lisbon and confirmed, for the first time in history, that there was land on the eastern coast of the Atlantic.
