Some of the most measured voices I’m hearing on here, the ones who seem most serious about ending this agony, seem to come from Israelis whose loved ones have just been murdered or abducted by Hamas.

@justicedems A left platform for COVID mitigation and elimination should include:

-universal paid sick leave
@Partha_Marcus If that person can have a work visa by 9/6/2023. Which is prob impossible unless someone already has status. We filled it abroad last time but delayed start date to Jan 1 which we can’t do this time.
Help! We really need folks to teach Anthropology courses in the Fall: https://t.co/STCxOlkYzP Our per course Lecturer minimum is now $7788. Plus we need a 1-year full time person to teach primatology and/or human behavoral ecology courses.
STILL have not filled a non-renewable 1-year full time position at $70k to teach 5 courses next year. I am a bit desperate. We could fill the position with a primatologist willing to teach intro Life of Primates and upper level Primate Nutritional Ecology https://t.co/IhuB36qbo5
@MSBbirds @siobhanmattison The big problem is that the job is nonrenewable. No one wants to relocate for $70k and NO future. I explained this to Dean-land. What do you do when socialism says offer more to be just and capitalism says offer more to fill the position and Deans are just like, nah?
Perhaps you don’t have information on the cattle shooting and can’t collect the reward? But maybe you can teach Anthropology of China or Psychology and Culture or Primate Nutritional Ecology for us? https://t.co/STCxOlkYzP
If you have lived through anxiety, you KNOW that covid cautiousness has nothing to do with anxiety. The feeling states are entirely different. They are not comparable, except in how other people perceive your actions and mistake them for "anxiety". 10/x
