@ElectionBabe Seems like the arrest could have been avoided and this not be a news story. Would like to think the proper steps were taken at the precinct but that detail isn't really shared. Isn't the offer of a provisional ballot fairly standard in the case of any issue?
@atlurbanist Never lived in a city with a Trader Joe's, but I think all of their parking lots are a madhouse! Or at least the handful that I have visited have been. If this is the Midtown J's - I think it is? - I have experienced its madness as a driver & pedestrian.
@FletcherPage@ajc Was kinda disappointed @AJC did not have an article about Saturday's scrimmage. Seems they didn't have a writer assigned yet! Good to have you on the assignment now & looking forward to your reporting.
@ksugiuraajc And I think if AA had deeper pockets, his teams would perform more like the Dodgers than the Mets. As a Braves' fan, am grateful for the Mets' results. As a former Mets fan, their results are kinda sad!
@atlurbanist Seems to be an emerging problem in areas with good sidewalks/multipurpose trails (so not SAV where I am). Have been incidents in FL, for instance. Don't know the solution either - restrictive regulations are being implemented in some areas.
@atlurbanist Hard to fathom the size, the massive energy requirement & bringing it online by 2028-2032 (I guess Ga Power is preparing). Lots of planned community questioning/protesting but seems to be a done deal. Will be a mess getting out of SAV that way. The bigger pic - I dunno!?
@atlurbanist As a GT guy, interesting to go down this rabbit hole. Knew Dewberry was a big real estate guy, but has some issues apparently (has a bldg in Charlottesville with similar issues). With no real knowledge about ATL development, still hard to imagine such a protracted project.
@ElectionBabe Your post made me think of this recent post. You may need to find a historian for help - "decoding" cursive is apparently a thing for them!
@ElectionBabe Not that's a strange visual... Personally stay away from all seafood, but it's a preference, not a physiological thing. Did do a little rock lobstering back in the day...
