Twitter has this Tortoise and Hare thing going for it where the Hare bursts on the scene with a scoffing "That's all you need to know!" attitude and the tortoise creeps up later (sometimes months or more) with some "slow but steady" links and sources.
If you still support Platner that's your right but I think you should be at least conscientious about the way you talk about abuse. This is a serious issue that goes beyond electoral politics and some of y'all are telling on yourselves
This is patently false. There are plenty of people who listen to the Nat’l Anthem and simply bow their heads with their hands in front of them or behind their backs and pay respects. Holding your hand over your heart is not a requirement. The Spurs were not being disrespectful in anyway. Who is anyone to say they were just over that gesture? That is utterly ridiculous!!!

"I just felt a calm and a peace that had to be come from the woman above (his mom). I felt like a kid. It was just fun out here. It felt like I was a kid getting ready to go play my Saturday AAU games and Sunday AAU games. In a way I felt like I was seeing her in the stands"
@wanderingdave@GovCox What's interesting is I see people (thanks to the "For You" tab) who are shocked he did this. They agree with it, but apparently because he used pronouns a couple of times, that meant he was actively opposed to the concepts in this proclamation.
Christmas Day last year, NBA Cup final this year, March 1 match-up. We all saw the same thing, right? Knicks held serve.
Pet peeve is when people who make money talking about the sport don't give you more than the average fan could.
