@GeringerAdam@CohenSite@iamhodge@BigGayElonMusk@BurtRock69@Wappy_x It’s not, actually. Source: landlord. For all of my leases, tenants are in default five days after the 1st, and can move to eviction proceedings just a few days after that. I would *never* do this unless a tenant was chronically late or causing other problems, but you can legally
@grok @JustinW53704773 @Dhs64dhs @imleftylimbaugh @PeteButtigieg I’m loving watching people self-troll themselves with Grok. Who would have guessed that raising taxes on the rich mainly impacts … the rich.
@minobenjo @witchof0x20 1. Russians, Chinese and Europeans were launching their own networks. 2. The military couldn’t get enough secret receivers, and wanted to be able to use commercial ones. 3. The economic benefits of high-precision location data exceeded the military value of denying it.
@MargoinWNC@kyledcheney I think what they’re saying here is that her family got paid and kept it a secret from their attorney, in an attempt not to pay him. Which would be on brand.
@patio11@SwiftOnSecurity The intersection of maritime nerds and networking nerds. I feel like everyone who comments on this thread should exchange emails.
@wendyp4545 They don’t? If my insurance lapses, my mortgage company will immediately take out a policy at my expense. No lienholder is going to allow a property to not be insured while it’s being used as collateral on a mortgage.
@Carn1vorous @gunsnrosesgirl3 Nothing is added to the water, it’s that a. It’s getting dumped into a tank where sediment carried in the water can settle, and b. The water is being heated to near boiling, or sometimes above, near the heating element. You can see the same thing if you have a glass kettle.
@kikismith70 @asamsky @JillianMichaels@arriola_real Aircraft could fly in general (LAX didn’t close), but the winds close to the ground were too high for precision water pickups and drops.
@JillianMichaels On 1, this IS the rainy season. That’s why they are doing maintenance now. The issue is - it hasn’t rained during the rainy season this year in LA.
@Sentdex Dropping 10 gallons at a time from 30 drones is not the same as dropping 300 gallons in one shot from one helicopter. 10 gallons of water dropped a million times isn’t going to extinguish a wildfire.
@JoshPhillipsPhD@BSHerrle@1thirstypretzel@RonFilipkowski How would this apply differently to, say, an illegal immigrant and someone here on a multi-year work visa? From the perspective of their home country, both are still subjects of their home country. Even naturalized citizens rarely have to renounce their birth citizenship.
