I’ve been advised nothing LBofB will do, but ‘thanking’ me for making them aware that their parking appeals allow for genuine human error to be considered, which they’ll now rectify with their supplier. I won’t be the only person charged like this!

But your reply ignores your own process...my options being pay despite the unfairness of your action or accept debt mgmt. This is wholly irresponsible. I will take legal advice re what recourse is available to me for your actions & the stress this causes.
