🙌 A magnificent following on a 674-mile round trip.
Thank you to the 459 of you that backed us at Huish Park this afternoon — see you at Reading in the Emirates FA Cup next weekend. ⏭️

Last month my best mate Ali Graham sadly lost his life whilst on holiday.
Ali was a massive Carlisle fan and this weekend myself, Ali’s family and friends will be in attendance and we would like you all to join us in a minutes applause on the 25th minute.
@cufcstuff I certainly think the cut through more than any game since Wimbledon is an over exaggeration. They had some chances, but no more than most sides in an end to end league 2 game with a questionable referee. Harris finished that chance it’s a comfortable game
@Chris_CA2@JohnRoutledge11 Agreed. Haven’t got a keeper that will command the box, decision making over the last few weeks from him has been poor, Fleetwood away when we conceded a prime example
@mathewclarke I think it also highlighted the need for another striker (which was mentioned is close), because we had no other forwards to bring on to potentially go 2 up top. I’d like to see a target man of some kind to be a threat from those crosses
@Chris_CA2@cufcmike Agreed. This is it, we shouldn’t be having to coach players at this level to open up their body, something that you learn between the ages of 9-11 at any level of football. Players like that will ultimately cost us our football league status
✍️Many good things end in failure, and a crucial decision now faces Carlisle United. But let us never forget how Paul Simpson revived the Blues. He deserves to go with heartfelt thanks.
My take on the manager's departure ⤵️
