@RareBirdAlertUK And wildlife crime has been reported around the A9 dualling where active sand Martin nests have been deliberately blocked. Reported to @PoliceScotland as a wildlife crime 3 weeks ago not even had full details taken never mind investigated 🤷‍♂️

@MeathBirder @SmalePerry @gatesheadandbey @BirdGuides @RareBirdAlertUK That doesn’t solve the problem though as without enforcement this criminal disturbance continues. It’s still illegal to disturb any nesting bird. But again, needs police or RSPB to enforce 🤷‍♂️
