Pretty frustrating that a “missing stay” request with @MarriottBonvoy is still sitting in limbo after being forwarded for “further evaluation.” It’s disappointing when loyal customers have to spend time chasing points/stays that should have been credited correctly the first time. Hoping this gets resolved soon, but the lack of timely follow-through has definitely been less than impressive.
8 nights at the @TownePlace in downtown Indianapolis, checked out a month ago, and ever since this email from @MarriottBonvoy - radio silence.

Any of my Indianapolis peeps want to get together for some BBQ and bourbon next week? I’ll be in town until the 25th and am looking to try some new places while I’m there. Have a couple weeknights free. Let me know! #OPNation#OPLive#OPIndy
Just found out that @Meta took down an @instagram page dedicated to our local first responders doing their job and said it was due to a violation of community guidelines. It’s pretty sad that the page’s owner can’t even showcase the good work our public safety folks do on a daily basis, yet Instagram and Meta have no problem with all of the “hate speech” and propaganda that litters their platform. #hypocrisy #unfair #instagramfailure #metafailure #renoresponders
From [former] @knoxsheriff Deputy Kirsten Zaagman:
“There’s no easy way to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of your life.
After six years in law enforcement, that chapter has come to an end — and if I’m honest, it’s sad that it ended this way.
I always tried to use my platform to show the good in this job — the human side, the service, the sacrifice, and the people behind the badge. It was never about attention. It was about showing that there is still so much good in this profession, and I was proud to be part of that.
But somewhere along the way, it became clear that being quiet was more acceptable than continuing to speak positively about a career I genuinely cared about.
What made it difficult was that none of this was ever a secret. I was publicly associated with my agency, I was on national television, and I had previously been allowed to share content that reflected positively on the profession. So when that suddenly became an issue, it was hard not to see that things had shifted.
And the truth is, I’m just not willing to become smaller to make other people comfortable.
So, I made the decision to step away.
I’ll always be proud of the work I did, the people I served, and the version of me that this career helped shape.
Some endings don’t come the way we would have chosen them — but that doesn’t make them any less necessary.
What comes next, I’ll share in time. But for now, I’m choosing peace, clarity, and the freedom to walk fully in who God created me to be.
