@gavinmyaz Jamaica certainly has qualified people can lead the FLA, a big issue is public trust. Given recent concerns and track records, the next head of the FLA should be completely independent, with no political ties and no connections to Jamaica’s power structure.
@ThompsonCanute Even if the shooting in Granville can be justified, the Commissioner still owes the country an explanation as to why police operations in influential neighbourhoods are often carried out with greater restraint and respect than in poorer communities.
@Marie24Dee A man can wear a suit, hold office, and still lack dignity. Respect for women should not depend on party colors — especially from men who also have wives, mothers, and daughters watching.
@julietcuthbert You made valid points Minister Flynn. With your Government position, you are well placed to turn these observations into action. I hope you will use that influence to drive real change for Jamaica’s athletes.
@ClydeWilliams46 Tryst concerns are real but the Privy Council isn’t the fix, it avoids the work. The CCJ is independent, accessible and key to building trust and true judicial sovereignty in our region. Invest more in transparency, accountability and reform within our own system.

@ThompsonCanute Building a new city on an old infrastructure is like building a foundation from the top down. Obviously no forward thinking with these developments , so while our goals are aspirational, it’s filled with bottlenecks and natural disruptions.
@JamaicaGleaner These actions are welcomed but prompt obvious questions. The long delay has deepened public suspicions that the process is conveniently slow for the major players involved.
@NationwideRadio I despise sympathisers of corruption, you can clearly see it coming out in some of these comments . Also, we need names just like when ordinary Jamaicans are being investigated.
@DamionMitch A foundational architect of reggae, a global ambassador who brought the sound of Jamaica to the world. A humble and spirited human being who infused his music with resilience, struggle and upliftment. Your music remains a timeless source of inspiration and joy. R.I.P 🙏🏾🙏🏾.
@William37527183@JamaicaPNP Rum and boom and the wigs you mentioned are a true picture of our educational crisis. Your Govt. has been there for nearly ten years, can you honestly say that they have reduced the rum and boom mentality? Look in the mirror.
@William37527183@JamaicaPNP Your analysis suffers from a clear tribal bias. If you were more objective, you’d recognise that voters from both parties vote for rum and boom. You have overlooked a fundamental difference in priorities . The PNP has consistently placed education at the forefront.
@William37527183@JamaicaPNP Your own founder famously dismissed the value of education by claiming education cant go to supermarket . This omission makes your narrative fundamentally unbalanced. Someone in your family must have benefited from those educational policies.
@DamionMitch@JamaicaPNP@jlpjamaica I have never doubted these polls regardless of whom the win points to. The polls done prior to the 2016 and 2020 elections were spot on so if you think the man is a PNP , check the data for yourselves. Numbers don’t lie but your state of mind can🧐.
