@dom_lucre I love how we are trying to pretend that there was nothing wrong and everything was his choice. It would be nice if people could get familiar with what honesty and truth look like.
@Tesla My Dad lost his vision late in life. He tied a lot of his value into being the person who always drove the family everywhere. He lost his license. This technology was a little late to help my Dad, but what a great thing for those who can use it.
@r0ck3t23 I could not agree more with this. College is four years of teaching you how to conform to the way everyone else thinks. Greatness happens when you stop thinking like everyone else.
@Sean23Roberts@KeithMurphy I am going through a layoff right now as well. I wish you the best Sean. It was fun listening to you on the radio all of those years.
@Hassel_Chris This seems to be the pattern lately for a lot of companies. I just went through a lay-off for outsourcing of my job to India. I have been looking for a job for almost two months now.
@mattshumer_ Companies spend a lot on AI but have a poor implementation plan. I worked in a large company where AI was being heavily promoted, but very few of my colleagues actually used it. Naturally, the ROI is going to be awful.
@FarmGirlCarrie It was 15%, then 18%, now we are at 25%. How about if you just pay your workers a little more. I am fine with tipping good service but 25% is getting excessive.
@ByEricPratt TThe MLB blackout rules for Iowa, where I live, and a lot of states are beyond dumb. That, coupled with the terrible MLB coverage on cable, makes watching baseball something you have to pirate almost to see it all.
@ArchivesDe A complete misunderstanding of the sport and what drivers go through during a race. It is very far removed from driving your passenger car to the grocery store.
@lololeereverie They need human capital for this to work. This kind of talk just pushes that very capital away. Who wants to work with a tool that will replace you? This is sales and marketing for companies to spend money on it.
@RobertMSterling This kind of talk, in many ways, encourages people not to use AI. On the flip side, it causes leadership of companies who know nothing about it to invest billions, which then leads to layoffs of the workers they need for successful implementation.
@fandompulse Sorry, the audience is your customer, the customer is always right. If you want to continue to make your contact then you will continue to fail. Instead of blaming look in the mirror and judge yourself first!
I love it when the only people liking my posts on social media are romance scam bots. Anyone else get this? TikTok is full of them and apparently X as well.
@Surendar__05 I have been an IT professional for almost 20 years but never coded. I think AI could do a lot of this. I also think the more complex the code the more challenging it can be for AI. At least that is what I hear from developers who use it.
