In real democracies, results are streamed live so every citizen can watch and decide for themselves.

Stopping the live feed only creates room for games, doubts, and stolen trust.

Today’s news should honestly make every Kenyan pause for a second.

KSh 6.3 billion allegedly moved from eCitizen, the same system we were told would bring transparency, into a private account.

Not millions. Billions.

And that’s where it stops making sense.

Because if a system designed to close loopholes can still produce this, then what exactly changed?

Maybe the harder truth is this wasn’t done in secrecy or fear.

It’s happening in broad daylight…
with the confidence that we will get angry, talk about it, trend hashtags, and then move on.
We’ve seen that script too many times.

But at some point, we have to break it.

Because if we keep moving on like nothing happened,
then we’re basically telling them it’s okay.

This time… let it not just be noise.
