📚 Spacesuit fittings and parabolic flights are all well and good, but they're not our daily routine 💁‍♂️ . Most of the time we have classes. And exams. That's right 😊 .

💻 I recently passed the exam about SSCs (Station Support Computers), which are computers on board the ISS that help astronauts in their daily activities: procedures for scientific experiments 👨‍🔬 , program of the day ⏲ , etc. We need to be able to respond to different types of failure, dismantle them, and use the programs available on the SSC 👨‍💻 . Among these OPTIMIS, which you see in the second photo, is one of the most important.

🗓 Basically, it's a calendar with a few extra features. The bottom lines show the schedules of six astronauts 👩‍🚀: the ISS Commander ('ISS CDR') and five Flight Engineers (FE). Above, lines colored green and orange indicate the times when the ISS can communicate normally with the ground 📞. You can also see the duration of orbits 🌍  (± 90 min), periods of light and darkness 💡, links to various activities 🏃‍♂️ (right panel), and lots of other things I'll be detailing in future chronicles.
