I’m not seeing the issue some people have with this announcement. What I am seeing is years of accumulated consumer frustration with how parts of the entertainment industry have handled identity, representation, and messaging. Whether that criticism is fair or not, it’s understandable that audiences now view new releases through that lens.

If the primary objection is that more people can now create, then the concern isn’t the technology. It’s the collapse of exclusivity.

Creativity, imagination, and storytelling aren’t activities that should be reserved for a professional class. The tools changed. Human expression didn’t.
