@consequence Well that's lame, meanwhile devoted entertainers would never stop for a little rain, there are countless examples of it; I suppose it could have been legal reasons.
Jared Leto gives his best performance in yearssssss as Skeletor. He was made for the role.
And before people are like “it’s just his voice but modified, so it doesn’t count”
Huge BS on that, Leto was on set performing as the character every day, all they did was CGI his face to be a skull. Credit where credit’s due. #MasterOfTheUniverse
@UndineImpera@SandyofCthulhu You’re operating under the assumption that the artist has any say in these decisions; they don’t, they’re just cogs in a machine doing what they’re told to do by whoever is above them and that’s likely 2+ people who are not artists.
obsessive modern rock anthem about a musician burning through AI music credits chasing the perfect song, self-aware humor, escalating creative madness, studio obsession, late-night production sessions, every revision becoming more complex than the last, catchy chorus, witty lyrics, energetic drums, driving bass, soaring guitars, professional radio-ready production, emotional but comedic, ends with the realization that the song somehow evolved into impossible quintuplet rhythms

This is an interesting behavioral tell.
If the primary objection is that more people can now create, then the concern isn’t the technology. It’s the collapse of exclusivity.
Creativity, imagination, and storytelling aren’t activities that should be reserved for a professional class. The tools changed. Human expression didn’t.
The people who truly stand out will continue to stand out.
Saying the quiet part out loud.
After an online hate mob bullied
Jorge R. Gutierrez out of using AI,
voice actor Billy West chimes in
and tells us the real reason:
The collapse of the barrier to entry
is not acceptable.
Only established artists
are allowed to create.
