@cuarda29@RBerenguerIII@Pontifex How dare you say that I hate Catalan people. Who the fuck are you to say that I hate anybody? Your comment shows complete ignorance in every aspect. If you want to debate, I’ll debate. If not, shut up and get properly schooled.
@cuarda29@RBerenguerIII@Pontifex Frankly, I think you’re taking it to extremes. For a start Gaudi was an extremely religious man. I’m not too sure he would have felt hurt if the Pope at that time had consecrated the temple using Spanish, Catalan or Latin. I think he was way above that debate.
@RBerenguerIII@Pontifex Gaudi’s priorities were his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and then Catalonia. No disrespect intended, but his religious beliefs were his main concern. For me, regardless of his cultural priorities, he was a true Catholic Christian and the world was blessed with his work.
@RBerenguerIII@Pontifex Nobody is erasing anything. You’re entitled to your political view which seems to prioritise over your religious beliefs whereas in my case no political cause is worthy when it implies division.
@LauraBorras Let me remind you that Spanish is also the official language in Catalonia. Who are you to say to anyone which language to use. The Holy Father may decide to speak Latin. Would that be adequate? Some of the claims are absurd and meant to politicise a religious event.
