@geoffcarrington @TUIUK What they also don’t tell you is if you’re a package holiday and the new flight that you want to catch means you’ll need an extra night added at the hotel, they’ll cancel your whole holiday because they can’t amend package holidays

@geoffcarrington @TUIUK We begged @TUIUK to transfer our holiday to anywhere in Europe and they said they couldn’t. And now the price of the holiday is like 4 times what we paid. This was the only time this year we could get time to go on holiday. Wish they had told me earlier so I could rebook

@Richarda80 @TUIUK @ChicGeekDiary That because they said we were a package deal so couldn’t be moved to another flight. We would have funded our own flight if they had just let us stay another night. We begged to change our holiday to ANYWWHERE in Europe and they said no sorry

They told us that we had the option to move to another flight either earlier or later than originally planned but we weren’t allowed to do (1/2)

Couldn’t even offer us anywhere else in Europe. 2.5 hrs waiting to speak to someone. Other call lines weren’t even open. Why offer to change flight or amend holiday if we can’t
