Euroclear. Een trieste saga. Er wordt veel over gezegd en geschreven. Waar volgens mij te weinig aandacht aan wordt besteed, is het hallucinante feit dat de EU blijkbaar zo financieel uitgehold is dat ze geen geld meer kan lenen aan Oekraïne en daarom naar Russische middelen wil stelen. De mensen die dit erdoor willen duwen, herhalen al jaren dat Rusland kreunt onder de sancties. De werkelijkheid is helaas het tegenovergestelde. De domme sancties hebben de Europese economie het nekschot gegeven, terwijl Rusland sterker staat dan ooit. Zelfs als Europa de 185 miljard van Rusland zou stelen, komt Rusland dit te boven. De EU daarentegen verliest voor decennia alle geloofwaardigheid, en dat zullen we allemaal voelen. Triest Europa. Wat een domme leiders hebben wij toch.
