The FAI has confirmed that Ireland supporters will not be granted in-stadium access for either of the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Israel.

The Association says operational challenges, alongside safety and security concerns, led to the decision.

Israel will accommodate a small allocation of its own supporters for its “home” fixture against Ireland in Debrecen, Hungary, on Sunday, September 27.

The return game will take place in Bačka Topola, Serbia, on Sunday, October 4, and will be played behind closed doors.
