Florida, I need your help. Please share this far and wide.

We are receiving reports from voters who went to the polls in the recent primary expecting to vote Republican, only to be handed an Independent / nonpartisan ballot.

If you were registered Republican but discovered at the polls that your party affiliation had been changed without your request or knowledge, I want to hear from you.

There are public records that can show when your voter record was changed, how it was changed, and who or what made the change.

I can send you a public records request you can submit directly to your county Supervisor of Elections.

Name recognition isn’t the same as representing the people.

While door knocking today, a voter told me she was supporting Jimmy Patronis because she knew who he was. I asked if a congressman should live in the district they represent and whether she supports our troops.

Once she learned he doesn’t live here, and that veterans with serious needs have been left waiting by his office, she changed her mind.

Knowing a name isn’t the same as showing up for the people of Northwest Florida.

I want to go to Washington and come back with less power than I had when I got there.

That means shrinking the size and reach of the federal government so future congressmen have less control over your life not more. I’m also the only candidate in this race fighting for term limits, because no one should make a career out of holding power in DC.

Had a solid night of door knocking in Miramar Beach the other night.

The rain rolled in, but a great couple invited me inside to keep talking. Those are the moments that remind me why this matters real conversations with real people who just want someone who will actually fight for them.

Ran into a special operator from Hurlburt who locked in as soon as he heard I was “for the boys.” Also spoke with several independents and even a Democrat who said she’s switching her registration so she can vote in the primary.

People are tired of being handed the same establishment choices. They’re looking for someone who lives here, understands this district, and will put Northwest Florida first.

August 18th is right around the corner.

Our veterans have earned the best care this country can provide and right now too many in Northwest Florida are driving hours just to get it.

We have one of the highest concentrations of veterans in the nation, yet the nearest full VA hospital is all the way in Biloxi. That’s unacceptable.

I’m fighting to bring a full-service VA hospital here to our district so our warriors and their families can get the care they need close to home. And I’m making sure veterans are on my staff from day one, because personnel is policy.

Our military and veterans will always be my top priority.

The Democratic Socialists of America just unveiled a new, radical push to eliminate the Senate, and its co-Chair Gustavo Gordillo is now calling it an "undemocratic institution."

"It gives more representation to people in smaller states," Gordillo said, as @ Martha MacCallum pushed back, noting that the House of Representatives is population-based to ensure equal representation.

The DSA's platform is also calling for:
— eliminating checks and balances
— granting amnesty to all immigrants
— abolishing the War Department
— passage of a Green New Deal
— establish a wealth tax
— replacing the presidency and Supreme Court with a new executive and judiciary subordinate to and chosen by Congress
— a 32-hour work week with no reduction in pay or benefits

I am a registered Republican voter in Miami-Dade County, and I received two invitations to this event from the Miami-Dade GOP. Both invitations were for an event that the Miami-Dade GOP was hosting for Byron Donalds.

I am extremely concerned by this. The advertisement says "paid by the Republican Party of Miami-Dade County" and the only gubernatorial candidate in that event is Byron Donalds. Not only is Byron Donalds the only speaker, it is advertised as "Republican Coffee Meet & Greet" but the only candidate speaking is Byron Donalds, and he is pictured next to the Miami-Dade State Committeeman, Juan Porras. There are other gubernatorial candidates in the Republican primary besides Byron Donalds. This advertisement and event is misleading and it shows the Miami-Dade GOP favoring one candidate above the others in a contested primary. I was an Executive Committeewoman of the Miami-Dade GOP for years, and we never hosted events supporting one candidate above others in a primary, unless the candidate was running unopposed.

I am tagging the Chairman of Miami-Dade County GOP, @kevincooperfl, in this post, so he can answer my questions. I would greatly appreciate it.

1) Were the other gubernatorial candidates invited to this Republican Meet and Greet? If not, then why not?

2) If the other candidates were not invited to this Republican Meet and Greet, then are you going to host an individual Meet and Greet for each of the other Republican gubernatorial candidates and advertise it like you did for Byron Donalds?

The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome.

Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up?

The only reason why you wouldn’t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.

Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.

More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
