At the @APTA_info conference, a Vancouver, Canada public transit planner said that they keep increasing frequencies to address overcrowding, but it just induces more ridership so the crowding comes back. We haven't begun to saturate the market for fixed route bus service in North America.
Happy 2 Year Anniversary to the Bike Bus @CoachBalto!
I’m so proud to live in Portland bc the bike bus movement became viral here in our city.
Bike buses give kids a great way to get to school in the mornings, but Portland needs safer routes to school & the city should help.
I highly recommend y'all read @PDXforAll's May primary voter guide — it's not only very informative, it communicates very clearly our values and expectations from of our region's leaders.

Grateful to see the Montavilla Community Village project move forward -- the need is dire & each area of the city needs to be part of the solution
Montavilla, D3, & 82nd Ave communities are stepping up to host services & safe living communities for our vulnerable neighbors
The Joint Office is moving forward with converting the 333 SE 82nd Ave property into the Montavilla Community Village (MCV).
Find a 3D visual of the proposed site layout, a 24/7 site that will be operated by Straightway Services.

OR: @RobinYeOR is a community organizer & served as Campaign Manager & Chief of Staff for state Rep Pham. He'll work to reverse the decision that continues to allow oil trains through Portland, hold utilities accountable to fair rates, & work to protect the Clean Energy Fund.
Hey Portland, I’m Robin Ye and here’s my first video 📽️!
6⃣ reasons why I decided to run for Portland City Council District 3
If you want a city council that works for all of us – no matter who we are, then it’s time for new leadership. Give $5 to my campaign today.

My letter to @OregonianPol was published this weekend!
Portland Clean Energy Fund is vital to our future. I campaigned in 2018 to pass this measure. PCEF must be safeguarded & supported. It's cornerstone to local efforts to protect vulnerable residents now & into the future.
We march on to our next goal! We need to double our Portland donors to clear a 750 donor threshold, unlocking the next tier for an additional $40,000.
Can you help us get to our next goal? Donate $5 today!

It’s my birthday week, it’s Spicy Pisces season, and it’s a great time to give to candidates who share your hopes and dreams for this city!
Thank you to the 300+ donors who have supported us. Because of you, we have unlocked $40,000 matching funds from the City of Portland

There are few people who I could trust to fill Rep Paul Holvey's big shoes as a champion of #workersrights and the #environment, but Doyle @Canning4Oregon is it! We need her leadership in the OR House. Pls donate to support (see link in thread). 💪https://t.co/JBv5NOLkNM
“The Portland Clean Energy Fund is... not just a fund, it’s our commitment to ensuring that everyone in Portland can live through heat waves, wildfires and storms without fearing for their lives. … This is about survival, not politics.” ” - Je Amaechi

NW Natural wants to protect their profits and expand fossil fuel infrastructure — bc that’s their mission
Here in Portland, we must put public health, the climate, and Portlanders’ well-being ahead of corporate compensation. There is no debate.

“I pledge not to take contributions from oil, gas, & coal industry executives, lobbyists, and PACs and instead prioritize the health of our families, climate, and democracy over fossil fuel industry profits.”
The climate crisis is not just a tragedy, it’s a crime
🔗1/3
Fossil fuel political money corrupts our climate action. Here in PDX, NW Natural spends large $$ greenwashing their fossil fuel products & conducting polling to bring a ballot measure that would take away our city’s right to wean off fossil fuels like methane gas
