When boredom strikes in lockdown... make Lego robots!
One of our members made these awesome Lego models of some of RoboJackets’ most iconic bots. They would make a pretty cool collectible set; maybe we should expand to Lego merch 👀
Our RoboCup team has completed production of the 2020 fleet electrical systems. This is the control board, which drives all of the robots' motion. Big thank you to ASEI for funding and guiding the board production! We're excited to show our new capabilities in Bordeaux 2021!
Since spring commencement was cancelled, some of our graduates hosted their own ceremony in Animal Crossing! They’re still trying to figure out how to build our robots in-game, though. Congratulations to all our RoboJackets who “got out” this year!
A few RoboJackets called with Pizzabyte Robotics, a new FRC team from Panama, to prepare for the 2021 season! We talked through planning for the build, making connections, and gathering resources. We're excited to see them represent as the first Central American FRC team in 2021!
Over the past month, RoboJackets has been electing new leadership. Congratulations to all the great members who were elected! Though our teams are disappointed that many competitions this season were cancelled, our new leaders are excited to get a head start on next year’s plans.
This past weekend our combat robotics team took on Motorama 2020! Our three pounders showed our best performance in years, and our 12 pounder Apachi took first in the hobbyweight rumble!
