As a kid, I always wondered why I couldn’t do the same on any TV show: click what I see and influence what happens next.
Fast forward 30 years: AI is finally delivering on that idea.

Today we’re launching: Twitch Plays — Day of the Tentacle Remastered
A classic point & click adventure game — now playable as co-op through a livestream.

How it works
Viewers interact directly on the livestream
Every interaction becomes a vote
Every 10 seconds, the most popular vote is executed automatically in the game
The result: unforgettable community moments — turning viewers into a co-op party.

What games does this work with?
It already works really well for 2D and round-based games.
We’re actively working on making it generally viable for any game.

Setup is extremely easy
Provide:
one image of the interactive object
the interaction options (what viewers can do)
Detection turns on instantly in real time — you can even add new objects on the fly while live.

Scale + flexibility
Tested with 1,000 simulated viewers at 100+ viewer interactions/sec (load test)
No practical limits in our current implementation — built on vector databases + AI embeddings to support a vast amount of object inputs
