@MakeAugusta If you draw a rectangle on edge cuts then select it and right click you will see "Shape modification" and there is fillets and chamfer built in to Kicad.
This is what I keep coming back to. So many companies in the US and Europe, driven out of the printer business over the last few years. Each one was its own thing, there was a place for everyone, and we were all friends sharing innovations across the industry. Now everything is just a copy of a copy of a copy 📉
I'd do anything I can to make that possible again. I miss a lot of my friends from this business.
@josefprusa I miss #reprap IRC 2011-2015.
So many ideas being tossed around. Free talking between devs.
MRRF 2013 was the best
I am still running my 2016 machine today. Developed it in channel from scrap and spare parts. [Trinitylabs spare parts though :) ]
@MakeAugusta We added a very similar circuit to the ADC inputs on the V2 Smoothieboard to protect it. We used an LM324 though.
Also, added ESD protection and a Zener to the input before the opamp to help even more.
@MFG_SMB Electronics manufacturing and design with a focus on OSHW.
Official Smoothieboard vendor/manufacturer and Smoothieware project contributor.
3d printing/printers and more.
Located in the US.
WA Governor signs 3D printing STL ban/possession bill (WA HB 2320)...
It has an emergency clause, it takes effect immediately upon signing.

@loyalmoses People. Start writing representatives and make it clear that these restrictions are useless and harmful to the maker community.
As a RepRap builder, Smoothieboard dev and maker. This can hit a lot of areas for me.
I have no need to print a gun but I do need to make things.
New products/variants to go with the Smoothieboard V2 project. @Smoothieware

Smoothieboard V2 core, 6 axis breakout, bidirectional level shifters...plus, added in house production of Smoothieboard V1.1.
@AzzyDesignWorks My old landlord ran WWII era Brown and Sharpe screw machines that were cam driven. Machines are usually still solid (aside from leaks) but the issue is nobody knows how to use them anymore...including the people at B&S.

@stlDenise3D I much preferred the more "informal" reprap festivals and shows. The first MRRF was great...more a gathering of people. By the time MRRF 2015 came about it was becoming more commercial and polished.
Now...Reprap is being taken from the names and it's about "3d printers".
@xpguru3dprint@Smoothieware So much better. I have been using it for a few years. The image for the pi3, IIRC, I built to be able to use USB sticks too. It should autorecognize. If you need help with anything let me know.
Aside from wolfmanjm I have probably used it more than anyone.
Smoothieware user? Did you know there was a powerful Smoothie specific host program created by wolfmanjm?
https://t.co/WuGQqSdYgE
It's called Smoopi host. Was designed to work with a Raspi/Touchscreen but works on many platforms.
