We are thrilled to announce that Sikand Srinivas is joining us today. Sikand is a master at telling stories through motion and has delighted families worldwide for over a decade while at @Pixar (Toy Story 4, Inside Out 2) and other films like Over the Moon.

Now Sikand is taking his craft to the frontier: a robot that lives with a family. As our first Member of Creative Staff, he will breathe life into the Goose by giving meaning to every motion, pause, and honk.

Welcome to the team, Sikand!

What if the next home robot doesn’t look human at all?

Meet Goose a new household robot from The Robot Works designed around everyday life rather than a humanoid form.

With a low body and long articulated neck, Goose is being developed to help with tasks around the home while its capabilities continue to grow over time.

The interesting part? Its design makes the robot feel less like a machine and more like something that could actually belong in a home.

Would you want a robot like Goose in your house?

@shentingmiqig3 Great question. This is prototype 1. It is still premarket and in active development, so there’s no commercial warranty yet. We’ll share support and warranty details when we get closer to production. Honk honk.

@L42ARO When we looked at the jobs we needed to done at home and the relationship that we needed to build, humanoid just didn't seem to be the right answer.
