The claim is extraordinary there is a lot of leaps to make the pieces fit. Evidence it is not, a lead sure, coincides still probable, the truth not even close.

AI companies are forever evading questions on their training data, saying ‘we can’t disclose that, it’s our competitive advantage’.

But every time a company is forced to reveal their training data in the courts, it turns out they’ve scraped everything they can find.

There is no competitive advantage to hiding your training data sources in a world where everyone is scraping data. You do it because you want to make it tougher for people to gather the info they need to sue.
