@EllEmmMay @OC_TranspoHelps I wonder when the trip before that showed up. I took the 67 from Dominion at 16:14, and the 267 from the trip before still hadn’t shown up (it was already 10 minutes late)
@Laskinator2@ctvottawa@ottawacity@_MarkSutcliffe If there are issues with accessibility, people should be reporting them to the city. Filling in this questionnaire does not get the problem fixed. People probably won’t do both, so people should do the one that will resolve the problem.
@WVangeest I personally think all city counsellors along with the mayor need to take a day after a huge dump like this and try to get around the city using a wheelchair. Rules include: you can't get up out of it if you're stuck and you have to rely on the "kindness" of strangers if you are
Went out for a walk early afternoon. Those sidewalks and pathways are still a mess (and some are worse now that road plows have gone by). Took a slightly different route and submitted some more tickets.
Winter has properly arrived! Various parts of the City received between 20-25cm of snow. Our crews have been working nonstop since yesterday and will continue working throughout the day as it continues to snow. https://t.co/RgxWlECeE9

Seems like an apt moment to dust off this oldie: “Should Ottawa adopt Sweden’s gender-balanced snow-clearing policies?”
We think yes, whether for equity, the climate, or simply making #Ottawa more livable.
