@OttawaCitizen Greg Burnette, Section Head at OC Transpo, has also worked tirelessly to make the work environment extremely toxic for OC Transpo Bus operators.
He should be fired, just like he has fired countless employees for frivolous complaints.
@_MarkSutcliffe
@_MarkSutcliffe You want to fix transit? Getting rid of incompetent Section Heads (part of management) like Greg Burnette would be a good start.
That individual is the number 1 cause for dysfunction within the organization at OC Transpo.
@JanTheMan2010@Toon_Dreessen If anything, it'll drive up the cost of living further by unnecessarily driving up our taxes to line the pockets of already rich developers.
@JBeesterwack@ohsixsilverado@OC_TranspoHelps Fun fact: OC currently has a MASSIVE surplus of drivers, but is short on buses.
Probably too many buses broke down and OC couldn't handle it.
@biotechtoreador@RailFansCanada Hey dumbass, that extra 5 minute wait could lead to a 58 minute wait by missing your connecting bus at Tunneys Pasture, Hurdman or Blair.
@Toon_Dreessen@EcologyOttawa@PeaceForNature@OC_Transpo Nope, not attrition.
They're terminating drivers over small, ridiculous, unfounded complaints.
And then there are senior operators (15-20 years) that aren't able to retire are seeking employment elsewhere because the work environment has become increasingly poisonous.
@RideauElvis@19_station @smwgilbert Then why isn't the bus station above it also closed? Why isn't the 417 closed? Both are supported by the "existing structure".
