@CNN $600 a week is equivalent to $15 an hour for 40 hours. My company was forced to close. My career is gone. I made way more than this. Yet this is considered extravagant. I ask any of these politicians to try and live on this.....
@andrewc702@DemianDennis ND- had no mask mandate and no restrictions. They have the highest per capita positivity rate in the WORLD. I’m not sure what you’re watching but I see everyday PSA’s and news telling me to stay home and don’t gather. I saw this on tv today. https://t.co/BZcCnDO6PH
@andrewc702@DemianDennis I respectfully disagree. Everyone knows the issues, they just don’t care. No more money needs to be spent to tell people to stay home. Money needs to be given to us to stay home. And closures work. It’s scientifically proven. When we get lax, numbers go up.
@ErekMajka My name is almost always spelled wrong. And my best friend has the same name, spelled differently. People trying to remember which is which is hilarious!
@jduffyrice My youngest daughter was such a grump!!! She’s 19, so I don’t have pics on hand (you know, no real cell phones) most pics of her first two years, she had a scowl on her face!
@Caulimovirus Serious ? Med students pay through residency , correct? The money goes to a university? Or the hospital? What do you do for those years at school or with professors?
@dremilyportermd Sitcoms are my happy place. Calm me down. It’s comforting to watch the same show over and over. If you haven’t , watch Kim’s Convenience on Netflix.
@piperjohn3@corneliusdelro@markjeffrey@jasonrapp My ex was a long time employee and a recruiter for them. If you’re ever in Vegas (post Covid) take a tour of the place, it’s like no corporation I’ve ever seen . And read delivering happiness!
@piperjohn3@corneliusdelro@markjeffrey@jasonrapp The employees LOVED him and the service. They had no scripts, no responsibilities other than make customers happy. And they did. They would happily sing. It was really a fantastic place.
@jasonrapp My ex was one of the first employees with them in San Fran, moved to Vegas with them. I got to see some of the inner workings. People that worked there LOVED it. If you didn’t, they would pay you a few thousand dollars and you could leave amicably.
@VitalVegas My ex was one of his first employees in San Fran. They used to have an office above a movie theater. They would write the plot endings / twists on poster boards and put them up for passerby’s. People got really mad about spoiling the endings !
@rtw1992 Nope. Dental insurance is a scam. Somehow the autoimmune disorder I have that causes teeth and gum issues is irrelevant. Medical insurance doesn’t cover it because it’s my mouth? And my GOOD dental insurance doesn’t care , pays about 25%.
