Rev. Dr. Howard-John Wesley: “Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated. But I’m overwhelmed seeing the flags of the United States of America at half-staff calling this nation to honor and venerate a man who was an unapologetic racist and spent all of his life sowing seeds of division and hate into this land. And hearing people with selective rage who are mad about Charlie Kirk, but didn’t give a damn about Melissa Hortman and her husband when they were shot down in their home, tell me I ought to have compassion for the death of a man who had no respect for my own life. I am sorry, but there’s nowhere in bible where we are taught to honor evil. How you die does not redeem how you lived. You do not become a hero in your death when you are a weapon of the enemy in your life”
@Jones658S Paleontologists have uncovered fossilized pellets containing fish bones, scales, and other prey remnants, dating back to the Mesozoic Era, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.
“To my Republican friends, my plea is straightforward: From Gettysburg to Omaha Beach to Selma, Ala., Americans have fought and bled and died so that we the people could seek to perfect our union – not so that an authoritarian showman-bully could turn our national project into his own fief.” Jon Meacham

I don't like being labeled as liberal. If I were a conservative who believed in the rule of law I would be equally appalled at the NYT coverage of this election. Our constitutional house is on fire, and our supposed leading news org treats this as a normal election. That's the problem
The pelicans have been extra bold lately, trying their hardest to snatch a free meal from the ospreys. They are rarely successful, but this time the pelican managed a very clever sneak attack from behind. The osprey, thinking it was free and clear, tried to shake off the water weight from the dive, and that little pause was all it took for the hungry pelican to close the gap and its gaping maw around the osprey’s catch. It’s crazy out there sometimes.
