More thoughts on all of yesterday's moves coming in a piece later today, but here are my Celtics thoughts:
I said if the deal was JB and a pick, Boston should do it. When it became JB ++++, it was right for the Celtics to walk away.
Now, they've got to pick up some pieces from the inevitable fallout with JB. Maybe things can be salvaged, maybe not. They were before. If they can't be, then find a trade that makes sense.
And then you keep moving. The NBA offseason leaves you no time to wallow. Get to whatever the next move is. Y'all love to stay "Trust in Brad", well now is the time to trust him more than ever. There's work to be done and I trust the Celtics front office to do it.
Jaylon Brown shouldn't wake up mad at the Celtics but he should be livid that the Bucks picked Tyler Herro (born and raised in Milwaukee) to be the face of their franchise over you. Now JB has a real reason to feel disrespected.
