There is no reason that Plz Donate couldn't have adapted and allowed users to sell clothing/accessories in the game.
Yes, the leaderboards would have to be removed, but its a sacrifice that allows players to continue donating.
Plz Donate's death was completely optional.
The Donations API and Clothing would work perfectly together:
โข Donations API:
- Players must have Plus to donate
- Players without Plus can receive money
โข Clothing:
- Players without Plus can donate
- Players must have Plus to receive money
This gives the players options.
@intrance Can this be exploited? Absolutely. However, assuming the average player is legitimate and the booths are purely cosmetic, I don't see an issue with exploiting the system. Especially when it can be updated to require daily engagement.
@intrance They are able to keep all of that and allow for clothing sales at the same time.
The Donations API allows for earning up to 500 giftbux per month.
They can either add a daily cap or daily quests to earn extra giftbux (even 50 a day would be an improvement).
@intrance They already removed 90% of the game. The 10% remaining is totally optional (leaderboards).
It's not like the leaderboards will do much with the Donation API anyways with everyone being limited to donating the same amount.
@slenderchris228 Thatโs what I am wondering as well. Exclusively using the Donations API limits Hazem to earning R$6,000,000 assuming every player donated the full amount. The inclusion of clothing could help content creators donate more to their fans.
@slenderchris228 Itโs impossible to determine the exact amount of robux a clothing item has sold for because exploiters can quickly change the price before the game processes the sale. This makes stuff like the donation trophy and global effects impossible to maintain.

@TheBoatPope@LuckyMatrbx The donations API is still available to players without Plus. Plus users can sell t-shirts for higher amounts and leave the donation API limits to free to play players.
I don't see any outcome that doesn't make adding t-shirts to the game a better option than it is now.
@TheBoatPope@LuckyMatrbx I think its more important to be able to actually donate to people rather than trying to save stats and disable most donations. The way I see it is that adding t-shirts is the only way to save the game.
@TheBoatPope@LuckyMatrbx I thought the point of the game was to be generous and donate to players out of the kindness of your heart. Atleast, that's what Twitter has been telling me.
@Ryanm7288@stinkellalove If the donation happens within a game, the developers get a 10% cut leaving you with 90% of the donated robux. If the donation happens on the website, you will get the full 100%.
