I have spent over 3,000 robux so far buying classic roblox clothing through this game before Roblox takes them offsale due to inactive accounts.

@KreekCraft I’m more shocked people unironically still play Blade Ball, it was decent for like a month when it first released but then they started locking abilities behind a gambling system.
someone argued with me the other day that these types of clothes are not worth 20 robux. T W E N T Y.
in fact a surprising amount of people think that if you charge your clothes above 5 robux it deserves to get stolen and reuploaded. roblox players are extremely entitled.
@Roblox How about listening to feedback regarding your 2D clothing proposal? According to your new policy, these creations are worth less than 1 R$, and someone slapping it in a game somehow deserves to earn more off of these than me, the original artist who dedicated 12+ hours to these.
@TheCIassicRose That’s definitely the point of this update; to demotivate people from making classic clothing. I hate how manipulative and weird this company gets.
the only way 2d clothing creators are making robux now is if they upcharge their clothing, and according to people (especially the weirdos i talked to last night on here) they would rather DIE than pay artists a fair amount of robux.
Roblox is unifying 2D and 3D avatar item publishing. 😬
Creators of 2D clothing will now have to pay a publishing advance of 600 Robux & 200 Robux, and the 2D rate has been drastically cut in half to 30% instead of 70%.
This is a drastic change for 2d clothing creators.
Roblox is unifying the requirements to publish 2D and 3D clothing starting July 14th. Here's what's changing:
- Upload fee reduced to R$200
- Publishing advance starting at R$600
- Creators will only receive 30% of 2D clothing revenue (down from 70%)
- Complete ID verification or link a parent account
@Star_Count2t@kemisabee Capitalism is making sure artists get paid fairly..? You actually believe artists should be paid 5 cents for an hour of work? Also Twitter is free. Trying to to convince me the cheaper options are better while paying for a free service is certainly an argument LOL.
@Star_Count2t@kemisabee Just because you saw some guy on tiktok stretch a PNG across a template does not invalidate the other individuals that actually put work into it, but sure let’s avoid spending 20 Robux and instead buy a verification mark to average 3 likes on twitter.
It's always gross how people treat Classic Clothing artists on Roblox, if you sell anything above 5 Robux all of a sudden that gives them the right (apparently???) to steal your art and reupload it. I wish Roblox would do something about this but they'd just get rid of it all.
