A point of correction: the Thirlwall Inquiry did not reveal the damning email by Dr Jayaram, which completely contradicted the evidence he gave on the stand.
On the contrary: the Thirlwall Inquiry sat on the email. They kept schtum about it. They won't even clarify if they became aware of the email *before* or *after* Lucy Letby's retrial.
In other words, the Thirlwall Inquiry cannot even bring itself to let the public know whether or not it sat on exculpatory evidence ahead of a freaking trial.
An amendment to the sporting events bill was defeated by Labour voting against it. @louie_french (and I as I suggested it in The Lords) Conservative shadow sports minister wanted int. events brought to this country to insist the female category is protected as the ioc does, & the uk Supreme Court ruling stipulates .. sadly Labour doesn’t seem to care if our girls get fair sport
@hwinkler4real Trump waving like he’s greeting thousands of cheering fans… except there wasn’t a single person there.
Apparently, the invisible crowd was HUGE.
Biggest invisible crowd in American history.
People are saying nobody has ever seen so many people who weren’t there! 🤣
He was trapped, with no control over what happened to him and no way to make it stop💔
If you’d hate this happening to you, text the number on the screen NOW.
Many of us sincerely believe we love animals. We live with dogs, cats, and other animals whom we regard as members of our families. We grieve when they die. But we eat animals who are no different from the ones we love when there is no necessity to do so. This makes no sense.
This polar bear died of starvation in its homeland, which is supposed to be teeming with prey. Photographer and biologist Paul Nicklen, who has spent more than 30 years in the Arctic, says that during most of those years he only came across one dead polar bear, and then within just two weeks his team found two that had died of starvation. Polar bears rely on sea ice to hunt seals, and with rising temperatures and receding ice, the search for food becomes longer and more difficult, potentially ending with some of them dying of hunger.

BREAKING NEWS: Billionaire Sir Richard Branson launches a SCATHING attack on Trump and his disgusting coziness with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that gets under Trump’s skin...
"I never thought I’d have to say this in my lifetime, but it’s 2026, and unfortunately, nothing is the way it used to be," wrote Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, on LinkedIn. "The Trump administration has become an enabler of autocrats and dictators, placing their personal whims ahead of the interests of the American people and the free world. What is it about Putin that makes President Trump fawn over him?"
"How can America’s allies ever trust this administration again, when it is now turning against them in a time of war and suffering?" he asked.
Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. First, he announced a shocking deal with Putin to allow millions of barrels of diesel onto global markets—a move that will inject cash directly into the Russian war machine. Then, he launched a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy, claiming that Putin is "easier to deal with."
The betrayals escalated when Washington failed to provide its customary early warning to Kyiv regarding an imminent Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears the White House has ordered a temporary suspension of Starshield—a military version of Elon Musk’s Starlink, upon which the Ukrainian armed forces rely.
"The throttling of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable failure to provide advance warning of Russian missile launches have already led to the needless deaths of Ukrainian civilians," Branson wrote. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear, it’s that European leaders must move past the initial shock of Trump’s recent actions and step up. This is as much about European freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "Every option should now be on the table—from transferring frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, to delivering advanced weapons systems like the German Taurus."
"Why, oh why, is this happening? We cannot allow the free world to be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded.
We couldn’t agree more. Trump is an enemy of Ukraine, an enemy of democracy, and an enemy of the American people. When the Democrats regain power, we will have a major task ahead of us. Every trace of this monstrous man’s legacy must be erased.
Please ❤️ and share if you think Trump is Putin’s puppet!
When faced with a man in a women’s changing room, most women will not cause a scene. We will remove ourselves from the situation as efficiently as possible. It is a survival instinct, not affirmation.
Inclusivity for men in women’s spaces is often self exclusion for women.
🚨BREAKING: A 13-year-old orphaned girl told staff she felt unsafe, but her request to move was DENIED. JK Rowling just offered to pay for her day in court.
A 13-year-old orphaned girl, the only female in the unit and with no criminal record, was placed at St Mary's Kenmure in Glasgow alongside 11 boys aged 15-17, all teenage offenders. She told staff she felt unsafe and requested to move to an empty houseblock, but her request was denied.
The situation was documented by the Council of Europe's committee for the prevention of torture following an inspection.
JK Rowling responded strongly, offering to pay for the girl's day in court. She wrote: Who does it hurt if we make every space mixed-sex? This is who it hurts: the most vulnerable, those without power and influence, the invisible people politicians don't bother to consider when chasing likes and photo ops.
Why are all those who strongly believe that Lucy Letby had been unfairly convicted continuing to speak out? Why is it that expert professionals in their fields are tirelessly raising concerns despite the backlash? Why are we all bothering? Why does it matter?
It matters because this whole case was built on flawed medical theories, bad statistics and character assassination- not one shred of concrete, physical evidence. So it’s imperative that eminent, respected, experienced professionals in the relevant fields of neonatology, obstetrics, nursing, medicine, statistics and psychology speak out to point out where exactly the prosecution went wrong.
When trusted experts raise their heads above the parapet, the public will listen. The justice system naturally wants to protect itself and sweep mistakes under the carpet, but an overwhelming wave of expert - backed public pressure is the only thing strong enough to open closed doors and force the CCRC to refer this case back to the CoA.
In the words of Paddy Hill: “The court didn’t set us free because they wanted to; they were forced to, because the evidence of our innocence was so overwhelming and the public pressure was so great that they had no other choice.”
