After the Saturn 1 upgrade on Feb 18, you will be able to launch validators with just 4 ETH and no RPL staked
They will be called megapools instead of minipools
Megapools can have multiple validators so less gas costs
Did you know @NasdaqBTCS runs @Rocket_Pool minipools + owns RPL? Based on their recent interview with @waqwaqattack, it sounds like rETH is up next!
Also s/o @aave for the appearance on official SEC filing footnotes.
In episode 25 of Launch Pad, I talk to Charles Allen, @Charles_BTCS, CEO of BTCS - an Ether treasury company. Charles talks about:
- working in the early days of Bitcoin
- pivoting to Ethereum
- staking with @Rocket_Pool
- what sets BTCS apart from DATs
and much more!
Check Linktree in the bio for links to watch/listen elsewhere.

During a voting period, Node Operators and Delegates can cast a vote with one of four options:
4. Veto: The voter votes against the proposal as well as indicating they deem the proposal as spam or malicious.
If the veto quorum is met, the proposal is immediately defeated and the proposer loses their bond. This is to dissuade spam, low quality proposals, or proposals that have not gone through off-chain processes first.
The rETH discount is dropping!
Over the last month as LSTs across the market saw massive sell offs, the rETH exit arb has enabled node operators to permissionlessly profit by exiting pools.
$17m in rETH buy pressure.
Let’s dive in 🔎
It is the staking vaults but it's also more than that
It's a very very compelling and synergistic vision that turns Lido from basically just being staked ETH to this platform where anyone can create staking products on top of Lido infrastructure that also benefit from staked ETH liquidity and integrations
There's a whole range of use cases that I think you can point to and build on this that are very very exciting
Some are related to institutional market
Some are related to restaking
Some are related to leveraged staking
Some are related more to basically unlocking these protocol to business opportunities where someone has a lot of customers and they want to offer staking to them, maybe using a specific setup and they don't have a good way of doing it today
@PosTradNeoIncel You can use @CoWSwap which is an aggregator and will use the exchange with the best rate
It will also use the protocol deposit pool when it's better than using an exchange
@KryptoKing13 Buy cheaper rETH on the market and burn it for ETH at peg, pocket the difference
This tool does it in one transaction (flashbots bundle)

@Samhuang_cuhk@Davy18933614 When was this and what's your discord username?
It's hard to get banned from Rocket Pool discord so I find this hard to believe
