@LMMI_PEI @lmmonline_org@LMMontgomerySO@lmmprojects Does anybody know anything about Harold H. Simpson, who published a letter written by Aunt Mary Lawson in CAVENDISH: ITS HISTORY, ITS PEOPLE, ITS FOUNDING FAMILIES (1923/1973)?
@jennylitster @LMMI_PEI @lmmonline_org@LMMontgomerySO@lmmprojects Oh interesting ... I need to get in touch with him or one of his descendants to ask if we can publish Aunt Mary L's letters (which LMM copies into her journal in 1932 -- don't want to leave it out). But weird it's under copyright because it's a posthumous publication ... Thanks!!
@CulinaryHistNY @Gastrolibrary @HistoricCook@cookbookshop @CookeNathalie The Canadian Receipt Book, arguably Canada's first cookbook, published by Rock's Mills Press in The Globe and Mail! https://t.co/yO056Sukq7 Congrats to @melissa_mcafee
@LMMI_PEI @LMMontgomerySO@LMMontgomeryLS And meanwhile, back in Ontario, those who were left behind eagerly pinch the program from their returning mothers to see all the great talks/events they missed. By all accounts it must have been a fab event!
@DrEmilyMcEwan @LMMI_PEI Good to hear! Let me know what you think. I found it a had lots of deep insights for how to think creatively about complicated situations. I really wish Donald Trump would read it!! Betsy a beautiful and powerful writer.
I was thrilled when the L.M. Institute committee, in celebrating its 25th anniversary and unbeknownst to me, decided to name one of its new awards in my honour! https://t.co/GUC8VDltIx via @wordpressdotcom
