D saddest & most frustrating thing about Nigeria is that adults are dying, children are being kidnapped, insecurity is everywhere, &yet we’re expected to carry on with our daily lives as if it’s normal no society should ever become comfortable with the suffering of its own people
LAUTECH OGBOMOSO: Yesterday We Celebrated Him, Today We Mourn Him 💔
What a terrible life we’ve found ourselves in what a tragic loss. 💔 Just yesterday, we all gathered to celebrate Tomisin, a young man full of life, hope, and dreams. His convocation was filled with joy, laughter, and family friend . Less than 24 hours later… he is gone. 😔
He is a brilliant footballer who was working hard to kickstart his football career with Saint FC (Ogbomoso), preparing for a scouting program, chasing his dreams… and then death came suddenly this Black Thursday morning. 🖤
Tomisin slumped… and just like that, everything changed.— painful and unpredictable. 🥺
Our hearts are with his family, friends, Saint FC, and the entire football community. All Football Matches in Ogbomoso are postponed in his honor. 💙
May God Almighty grant his family the strength to bear this unbearable loss. 🙏

Yesterday at the mechanic, I noticed a tree I've been seeing for a long time but never really cared about. I did some research on it and found its name: Hura crepitans. The sandbox tree. The one with thorns all over its body. From the stem to the branches. No safe spot, no friendly side, and evil-looking.
I later found out it actually produces fruit, but even the fruit is dangerous. Explosive. Toxic! You don’t eat it. You don’t play with it. You don’t even stand too close. So what exactly is the point of the tree, if everything about it warns humans to stay away?
That tree is literally some of our leaders in plant form.
They sit comfortably under the same sun as everyone. They drink from the same soil paid for by the people. Taxes, votes, hope, patience. Yet every part of them is designed to hurt anyone who comes close. You try to access them, you bleed. You ask questions, you get thorns. You expect results, you’re told to mind your business or you get picked.
They will tell you they are producing fruit, but the fruit cannot feed anyone. It only harms. No shade. No nourishment. Just power, spikes, and warning signs.
Our country does not lack sunlight. It does not lack fertile ground. What we keep growing are some leaders who benefit from the land but are allergic to the people.
A country full of Hura crepitans. Strong roots. Dangerous fruits. And citizens are told to keep watering it and calling it leadership.

Why are you naive enough @RepRileyMoore to think that the Islamic government of Nigeria is actually going to take steps to protect Christians?
Muslims are commanded in the Quran to kill non-Muslims who they view as cattle.
Nigeria has a Muslim President.
You keep talking about how you want to save Christians, but you won’t address the root of the problem.
Islam.
Nothing will change till our GOP lawmakers aren’t bought and paid for by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other rich Arabs and they actually start speaking truth about Islam and how Islam is a supremacist ideology that calls for all non-Muslims to convert or be killed.
I’m tired of the grand standing.
If you won’t speak about Islam, then just stop now because you won’t get anywhere.
