7 Signs God Is Protecting You From Something You Cannot See
1.Doors keep closing no matter how hard you try to open them.
Not every closed door is rejection. Sometimes it is protection. God sees what you cannot see.
Revelation 3:7 says:
“What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”
https://t.co/mlO743706U lose interest in something you once desperately wanted.
Sometimes God removes the desire before He removes the thing because He knows it is not good for you.
Psalm 37:4 says:
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
When your heart aligns with God, your desires begin to change too.
https://t.co/R6njvWFanx feel unsettled even when everything looks right on paper.
The Holy Spirit often warns through a lack of peace before He reveals the reason.
Colossians 3:15 says:
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
Peace is often God’s umpire.
4.Delays keep happening.
What feels like frustration may actually be God preventing you from arriving somewhere too early or at the wrong time.
Habakkuk 2:3 says:
“Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
5.Relationships begin falling apart unexpectedly.
Not everyone is assigned to your future. Some exits are God’s mercy.
Amos 3:3 says:
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Sometimes separation is protection.
https://t.co/iJ00ZgBZPt keep receiving warnings through scripture, prayer, sermons, or wise counsel.
God often repeats Himself when something is important.
Proverbs 15:22 says:
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.”
7.Things do not work out the way you planned.
One of the hardest lessons in life is realizing that God’s protection sometimes feels like disappointment in the moment.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”
Sometimes God is protecting you from a battle you never saw, a betrayal you never knew about, a mistake you would have regretted, or a path that would have taken you away from His purpose.
Trust Him.
You do not need to understand His protection for it to be working.
When Christ said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life,” He was not offering one spiritual option among many. He was shutting every false door and declaring that no sinner reaches the Father except through Him. “No one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6).
That one sentence destroys every man made religion, every proud philosophy, every path of human effort, and every comfortable lie that says sincerity is enough. A man may be sincere and still be lost. A man may be religious and still be dead in his sins. A man may speak much about God and still reject the only Mediator God has given.
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Scripture does not leave room for another saviour, another gospel, another sacrifice, or another road to God. Christ is not merely the best way. He is the only way.
This is not arrogance. This is mercy. God has not left sinners to wander through darkness guessing how they may be saved. He has made the way plain, and that way is His Son. “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).
So beware of every road that does not lead through the blood, righteousness, death, and resurrection of Christ. However peaceful it may appear, if it avoids Him, it ends in judgment. There is no safety outside Christ, no forgiveness outside Christ, and no life outside Christ.
To reject Him is not to choose another path to God. It is to choose death while calling it wisdom.
It’s our anniversary!
It was the month of May
The twenty-second day
We were so in love
With little whereof
We said our vows
To some raised eyebrows
With You being you
And Me with no clue
But now 44 years later
Our love is never straighter
I thank the Lord above
For our love
We had such a great conversation today with our friends from Citizens Defending Freedom about applying our biblical worldview in the public square.
Grateful for the work of Shane Bost and Jackee Andrews! Also loved having my favorite seminary prof and mentor, Dr. @RodDempsey with us!

“To believe in God is to commit your life.”
Jordan Peterson dropped that on the Shawn Ryan Show and it stopped me cold.
It’s not saying “I believe.” It’s volunteering for the cross — betrayal, unjust suffering, staring down hell, and still stepping forward with courage. The real imitation of Christ. Most who wear the label have no idea what they’re actually signing up for.
I’ve been wrestling with how cheap modern belief has become. Easy words. Brutal reality.
In a world full of performative faith and slogans, this cuts straight to the difference between nodding along and actually living the pattern when it costs everything.
This one hit like a gut check.
What does real commitment look like to you — in faith, work, or relationships?
What Are Generational Curses?
A generational curse is a pattern of sin, bondage, destruction, or suffering that repeats itself through generations of a family because of disobedience to God, ungodly foundations, sinful lifestyles, or demonic influences.
These patterns can appear as:
addiction,
anger,
immorality,
divorce,
violence,
idolatry,
occult practices,
poverty caused by destructive choices,
rejection of God,
depression and hopelessness,
or repeated cycles of failure.
When people notice the same struggles repeating in a bloodline, many say: “Something is wrong in this family.”
The Bible shows us that sin can affect generations.
In Exodus 20:5, God spoke about “visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.”
This means the consequences and patterns of rebellion can continue from one generation to another if nobody rises to stop them.
For example: A father lives in alcoholism.
The children grow up in trauma and later become alcoholics too.
A family practices witchcraft and idolatry.
The next generation grows up under fear, confusion, and spiritual oppression.
A generation rejects God completely.
The next generation grows spiritually weak and empty.
This is how destructive patterns travel through generations.
But hear this clearly:
Jesus Christ did not come so people would remain prisoners of their family background.
The Gospel is the GOOD NEWS that no matter where you came from, you can become a new creation in Christ Jesus.
The Bible says:
> “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away…” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
This means your history does not have to become your destiny.
Many people today are suffering because they normalize evil patterns instead of confronting them spiritually.
Some families normalize:
adultery,
abuse,
corruption,
anger,
prayerlessness,
fornication,
drunkenness,
ancestral worship,
and rebellion against God.
People say: “That is just how our family is.”
No.
Some patterns must be broken.
There are people who grew up seeing:
every marriage fail,
every man become violent,
every woman become rejected,
every child leave God,
every generation trapped in darkness.
And after years, they begin to think it is normal.
But when Jesus enters a life, He changes the story.
The Bible says:
> “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.” — Galatians 3:13
Jesus became the curse so that you can walk in freedom.
This is why believers pray, fast, repent, and surrender fully to God — not because we fear demons more than God, but because we want every ungodly pattern destroyed by the power of Christ.
Breaking generational patterns is not just shouting: “I break every curse!”
It is also:
changing your lifestyle,
renewing your mind with Scripture,
walking in holiness,
forgiving others,
rejecting sin,
and building a new foundation in Christ.
You cannot claim freedom while still living in the same darkness that created the bondage.
If your family was full of immorality, you must choose purity.
If your family rejected God, you must become the one who seeks God.
If your bloodline was filled with anger and violence, you must become a person of peace.
If nobody prayed in your family, become the first altar carrier.
Somebody must rise and say:
“This pattern stops with me.”
Not by human strength.
Not by fear.
But by the power of Jesus Christ.
Your family background may explain your battles, but it does not have to determine your future.
In Christ:
curses are broken,
identities are restored,
destinies are healed,
and lives are transformed.
You are not doomed because of where you came from.
Jesus is still able to save, heal, restore, and rewrite stories.
🚨‼️This chart breaks down the battlefield of the Christian mind by showing what it means to bring “every thought” into captivity to the obedience of Christ according to 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. It lays out why thoughts matter, how the flesh, the world, and the devil attack the mind, and what kinds of imaginations must be cast down before they become strongholds, sin, and bondage. The chart also gives a practical KJV-based battle plan for victory, including testing thoughts by Scripture, rejecting lies, replacing them with the word of God, praying through mental attacks, walking in the Spirit, guarding the eye gate and ear gate, and keeping the mind stayed on the Lord. The main point is simple but powerful: the Christian mind is not supposed to be ruled by fear, lust, pride, bitterness, anxiety, or vain imaginations, but by the truth of God, the mind of Christ, and the renewing power of Scripture.
🚨 JUST IN: Trump Housing Secretary Scott Turner says America's Christian values MUST be upheld.
This guy is great.
"Jesus is still on the throne. Two, His word is true. And three, there's believers in our country who want to carry the water and be a witness and ambassador for Christ and serve the American people, so that our country, for the posterity of our country, which was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, can not only be upheld, but sustained from generation to generation."
"My faith in the Lord Jesus drives me every day, and I believe that God has called myself and other believers like yourself and others in this administration for such a time as this to be servant leaders to our country, to restore not just morality, but Biblical truth in our country, and give people a platform and encouragement to live out your faith in great hope for our country."
"We've seen many dark days, but I'm not dismayed, I'm encouraged."
"And my faith, for me personally, is the driver and encouragement for that." 🙏
Layer 6 — Victory over powers.
Colossians 2:15: "He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him."
What looked like Rome executing a criminal was actually God disarming every principality and power that held humanity captive.
The cross was not a defeat dressed as victory.
It was a victory disguised as defeat, the most dramatic reversal in cosmic history.
Here’s a simple way to get unstuck when you’re worried, overwhelmed, or overthinking a decision.
Ask yourself one question:
What kind of thing am I dealing with?
Most issues fall into one of three categories.
1. Settled Things
These are things that have already been decided.
Your birth family.
Your nation of origin.
Your height.
Your past decisions.
Your upbringing.
Things you did.
Things done to you.
Some of these things were decided by your own past actions. Others were decided by God’s providence. As Paul says in Acts 17:26, God determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our dwelling place.
You can’t go back and change these things.
So the question is not, “How do I undo this?”
The question is, “Does this have any bearing on what I should do now?”
If not, leave it alone. Don’t spend your life fighting settled things.
2. Action Things
These are things you have some real control over.
Your diet.
Your exercise.
Your spending.
Your work ethic.
Your attitude.
Your friendships.
Your theological knowledge.
Your presentability.
Your habits.
Your skills.
These are your controllables.
You may not control everything about your health, finances, relationships, or future. But you usually control more than you think.
So if the issue falls here, don’t overthink it.
Take direct action.
Start small if you have to. Make the call. Go on the walk. Open the Bible. Apologize. Apply for the job. Pay the bill. Clean the room. Do the next faithful thing.
3. Prayer Things
These are things outside your direct control, but not outside God’s control.
The economy.
The weather.
The housing market.
The availability of a suitable spouse.
Other people’s choices.
Timing.
Open doors.
Closed doors.
You can’t force these things. You can’t grab the steering wheel of providence.
But God can act.
So you take indirect action through prayer. You ask. You wait. You prepare. You remain faithful. You do what you can do and trust God with what only He can do.
So ask yourself:
Is this settled?
Then accept it and learn from it.
Is this actionable?
Then do something.
Is this outside my control?
Then pray and trust God.
This is a simple framework, and yes, it’s a little reductionistic. But that’s the point. The goal is not to explain every complexity of life. The goal is to get you unstuck.
Most people waste too much energy trying to change the past, control what belongs to God, or pray about things they simply need to obey.
So categorize the issue.
Then act accordingly.
Accept what is settled.
Act on what is yours.
Pray over what belongs to God.

This is how we know it’s God-inspired and not man-made.
Kamala Harris says Democrats need a “no bad idea brainstorm” after getting HUMILIATED over their failed redistricting scheme.
Translation?
The party that spent YEARS trying to rig every institution in America is now panicking because voters rejected them anyway.
They controlled Hollywood.
The corporate media.
Big Tech censorship.
The universities.
The bureaucracy.
The courts.
And they STILL lost the country.
Now Democrats are openly “brainstorming” ways to change the rules because they can’t win under the system they spent decades manipulating.
Notice they never want to persuade voters.
They want to abolish the Electoral College.
Pack the Supreme Court.
Nationalize elections.
Lower voting standards.
Import millions of future voters through open borders.
Every “reform” somehow magically benefits Democrats.
Kamala calling for a “no bad idea brainstorm” is the most honest thing they’ve said in years.
Because when a political movement can’t survive democracy… it starts trying to redesign it.
THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS: HOW TO HEAR, RECOGNIZE, AND OBEY
Many of you have asked, what is the real work of the Holy Spirit? How can I tell when He is speaking to me? Today, I want to give you clarity.
The Holy Spirit of God is that gentle, loving voice within you that always steers you away from sin and anything against God’s will. He is the whisper in your heart that guides you to do what is good, what pleases God, and what brings blessing to your life. The Holy Spirit encourages you to read your Bible, to pray, to forgive, and to share God’s Word with others. Whenever you sense this calm urging, know that it is God Himself speaking to you.
This voice is not loud. It does not shout. It does not force or command arrogantly. It is calm, tender, and persistent. It often comes in quiet moments, not in chaos or noise. It is consistent, gentle, and warm. Whenever you hear this voice, pay attention, and do not ignore it.
Obedience is key. When you respond to the Spirit’s guidance, He strengthens you, comforts you, and leads you into growth in all areas of your life. But when you resist, when you harden your heart and refuse His instructions, whether it is to forgive, pray, read the Bible, or act in faith, you risk cutting yourself off from this divine guidance. Many stop hearing the Spirit because they continually reject His voice.
The Spirit will repeat His guidance. If someone offends you, you may hear the gentle urging: forgive, forgive, forgive. If you pray or read Scripture, the Spirit may nudge you repeatedly. This is His work, shaping your character, your decisions, and your walk with God.
The more you obey, the more He empowers you. Obedience opens doors for spiritual growth, wisdom, and blessings in every area of your life. The Holy Spirit will help you excel in your calling and deepen your intimacy with God.
So today, begin listening attentively. Recognize the Spirit’s calm, persistent voice. Do not harden your heart. Obey Him, and watch your life be transformed.

Bible Verses to Guide You:
John 14:26 - “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
Romans 8:14 - “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”
Galatians 5:16-17 - “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
There are two things God will do in your life and you have to know the difference.
God will either allow it or He will orchestrate it.
Some things in your life, God allowed.
The betrayal… the heartbreak… the rejection… the warfare.
Not because He wanted to hurt you, but because He knew it would grow you, reveal you, and strengthen you.
The enemy may have meant it for evil, but God said, “I’ll use it anyway.”
And then there are things God orchestrates. The doors that open out of nowhere. The peace you didn’t have to force. The restoration, the elevation, the alignment. That’s not coincidence, that’s God moving on your behalf.
But just because God allowed it, doesn’t mean He approved of it. And just because it hurt you, doesn’t mean it won’t position you. God will never waste your pain.
He will either use it to prepare you or to promote you.
So stop asking, “Why did this happen to me?” And start asking, “God, what are You doing THROUGH this?” Because whether He allowed it or orchestrated it…
It’s working for your good. 🙌🏽
Jesus says something extraordinary in John 14: "If you love me, keep my commands. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete to be with you forever."
Most of us have heard that word — Paraclete — without ever really sitting with what it means. I guarantee that if you've been Catholic for 20, 40, even 90 years, you may have never heard it talked about quite this way.
The word doesn't translate neatly into English. It can mean Advocate, Counselor, Comforter — but none of those words alone capture it. It's the one who comes alongside you. The one who coaches you, defends you, encourages you, and stirs you forward. Jesus isn't just sending a force or a feeling. He's sending a Person — the Holy Spirit — to be with you and in you.
And then Jesus says this: "I will not leave you orphans."
That's the promise. You are not navigating this life alone. The same Spirit that hovered over the waters at creation, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead — that Spirit is available to you, right now, in the middle of your ordinary life.
The Difference Between Purpose, Assignment, and Calling
Many people use these three words interchangeably, but they are not the same. Understanding the difference helps you walk with greater clarity.
1. Purpose — Why You Exist
Purpose is the reason for your existence.
It answers the question: “Why was I created?”
Your purpose is your divine design — the eternal intention of God for your life. It is the big picture of what your life is meant to represent.
For example:
You may be created to reveal God’s love, bring healing, raise leaders, or bring transformation to a generation.
Scripture:
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand..." — Ephesians 2:10
Purpose is usually broad and lifelong.
2. Calling — Who God Has Called You to Become
Calling is God’s invitation into a specific identity and relationship with Him.
It answers: “Who has God called me to be?”
Before God calls you to do something, He calls you to become someone.
Examples of calling:
Called as a teacher
Called as a prophet
Called as a leader
Called as an intercessor
Called to ministry
Called to business with kingdom influence
Calling is connected to your identity, office, and spiritual placement.
Scripture:
"Many are called, but few are chosen." — Matthew 22:14
Calling shapes your life’s direction.
3. Assignment — What God Has Sent You to Do Right Now
Assignment is the specific task, season, or instruction God gives you.
It answers: “What am I sent to do now?”
Assignments are often seasonal and can change.
For example:
Preaching at a conference
Starting a prayer group
Writing a book
Mentoring certain people
Serving in a local church
Jesus had many assignments, but all of them served His greater purpose.
John the Baptist’s assignment was to prepare the way for Christ.
Assignments are usually time-sensitive.
In Simple Terms
Purpose = Your reason for existence
Calling = Your divine identity
Assignment = Your present task
Think of it like this:
A person’s purpose may be to transform lives.
Their calling may be as a teacher.
Their current assignment may be to mentor 12 young leaders.
A Deep Truth
You can be active in an assignment and still not fully understand your purpose.
You can know your calling but miss your assignment for a season.
Wisdom is knowing what season you are in.
Purpose gives meaning.
Calling gives direction.
Assignment gives expression.
That’s why not every good opportunity is your assignment, and not every assignment defines your ultimate purpose.
Do NOT be deceived;
the Apostle Paul warned that the enemy disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14
This is all a deception rooted in New Age teachings that humanity can ascend and also the same lie from the Garden of Eden; “you shall be as gods.”
Genesis 3:5
The whole purpose of this agenda is to draw people away from the biblical truth of creation.
JESUS CHRIST never said,
I am one of the truths;
HE said,
“I AM THE TRUTH.”
Many people’s faith will be tested in the coming falling away.
Christian, hold on to Bible Truth and stand firm in you faith;
continue to run the race and draw closer to GOD as we see our Day approaching.
