“In Laodicea they brought a stone Athena up from the earth, a monument of my former renown throughout Asia.”

a última estrela
subirá pálida.
Que grande sossego, sem falas humanas,
sem o lábio dos rostos de lobo,
sem ódio, sem amor, sem nada!
Como escuros profetas perdidos,
conversarão apenas os cães, pelas várzeas.
Fortes perguntas. Vastas pausas.
Nós estaremos na morte
com aquele suave contorno
de uma concha dentro d´água.”
The Olympic Games should be held ONLY in Greece every 4 years. Participation only for countries that respect Greece, and only events that are related to athleticism. Enough with the circus & the clowns.

Coworker saw my vacation photos and said "you must be lonely traveling alone."
I was in japan. Solo. No itinerary. Ate whatever I wanted. Slept when I wanted.
The loneliest I've felt was at his wedding, sitting at a table full of people I'd never see again.
“The spirit of the Native people, the first people, has never died—their spirit lives in the rocks and the forests, the rivers and the mountains. It murmurs in the brooks and whispers in the trees.
The hearts of these people were formed of the earth that we now walk—and their voice can never be silenced.”
