@Jessemedscience Depends on what else is coming back with the second overall pick. If that was the direction the team was going to go , do it right and don't trade any of there first round draft picks for 3 years . Be honest, Toronto and Boston should be in the bottom of the nhl next season.
@Jessemedscience One gm is desperate, one organization is understanding of the situation at hand. Remember, neither team was supposed to be where they are at this point in the season, so I'm okay with this direction.
@TianoDom27109 I was just telling my son how important he is to the Bruins, that being said, its only a matter of time before he is the general manager of a team, and he deserves that opportunity.
@TCalauttis Exactly why they should have sold at the trade deadline, no way can they compete with Tampa,Buffalo and a few other teams. This was to be a year of building for the future, not make the playoffs. Yes they over achieved, but thats the whole point off getting more picks.
@dons_weeney Does anyone else have an concerns about Thomas's health going forward. If it all works out then yes , go for it. But in the back of my mind , I still think about Rick Nash, what could have been for him and the Bruins if he had not had another concussion.
@RyanJBosworth Rumor has it that in the next contrat of the GM of the Leafs , it will be written in stone not to ever trade with the Bruins , regardless of what is to be offered lol.
@TCalauttis I would like to see another year for Laurie under him before the Bruins decide to trade him, and that was my opinion before last night's game against Chicago.
@RyanJBosworth This was supposed to be a rebuild year, Laurie has improved so much under Marco. My hope is the Bruins keep the 2 first round and second round picks this year and trade in the summer and next year. Just play it out , but then you've to do something the 2 ufa forwards .
@ihockeyNHL@GlobeKPD Agree , keep the picks , hopefully draft well again this year. This shows how badly the need depth, those picks are so valuable going forward.
@Jessemedscience So many similarities to Nylander, only the Leafs gave him a chance. Nylander is terrible in his own end , doesn't backcheck but scores points.
@Jessemedscience I think its possible that he gets traded to Vancouver, he played junior there so they would have some idea of what they are getting. Him and a pick/player maybe a goaltender for Kiefer Sherwood
