@Chad4328 @NJBeisner 1 Peter 3:20-21
20 ...wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
@NJBeisner Acts 2:38 KJV
[38] Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
BAPTISM IS FOR REMISSION OF SINS...BUT REPENTANCE IS IN ORDER BEFORE REMISSION
@maneatsbible@ravenhillquotes There is no "eternal Son" or even "God the Son". Scripture never reads as such, "Son of God" yes, "Son of Man" yes, but never the others and never "everlasting Son" either. Scripture reads as "Great is the mystery of godliness, GOD was manifested in the flesh" SONSHIP is HUMANITY
@MrMichaelArthur@sola_chad I sent the scriptures in regards to your question on why to be baotized...however I do not believe in baby baptism as baptism is a desicion made by faith and in understanding of one's sins...babies are not at that age of understanding.
@MrMichaelArthur@sola_chad Acts 2:38 ...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
@Pastor_Gabe 1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV
[2] For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
