Modern culture tells men a woman’s past does not matter because admitting it does would destroy half of modern dating culture and expose how many women confuse sexual chaos with passion, then enter marriage still chasing the thrill of men who were mere hookups.
Imagine being married to a woman who still remembers some guy she slept with ten years ago because he gave her a level of sexual intensity you now have to compete with. Imagine doing everything as a husband, loving her, providing, staying loyal, trying to build a life with her, while some random man from her past still lives in her head as the standard.
That is humiliating.
The issue is that people act like the body forgets, like women do not compare, and sexual experiences do not shape what someone later expects from love, marriage, intimacy, and men.
And then these same women end up resenting their husbands because he does not make them feel the way some reckless hookup did. Of course he does not. That man was not building a life with you. He only had to give you chaos, intensity, and leave.
A lot of women confuse that chaos with passion, marry a good man, and then punish him for not feeling like the men who never had to actually love them.
So yes, the past matters because what you normalise, what you remember, and what you secretly compare against will eventually show up in the marriage.
These same women then go on and cheat on their husbands because they crave this intensity.
While not part of their usual behaviour, bats can swim, especially in stressful situations if the need arises. And they are indeed surprisingly good at it.
