Opinions seem to be going out of style with LLMs.

There’s a lot of “we don’t need X anymore, agents can just do it.”

Style still matters. Approaches matter. Tradeoffs matter. Taste matters.

If you outsource your opinions to the agent, eventually you lose the mastery required to know if the agent is actually doing a good job.

@davidfowl In your honest opinion, do you think where every AI harness is going with not really showing the code like Codex, VS Code (agent mode), or now GitHub Copilot app is where the industry should go? I don’t see the advantage if you actually care about reviewing the code for any app.
