@GlobalBC@globalnews How is it possible that Global doesn't know its broadcast is stuck in a loop for almost 30 minutes ?
Same 30 seconds since 14 min past the hour.
@Canuck_Muskoka@mack4change Not in power.
Conservatives are in the same position as all Canadians. No say in what the Liberals decide.
The HoC has been closed for 8 months. What, exactly, would you like them to do?
@Penn3821@mack4change FYI, the Conservatives are not in power.
There is nothing they CAN do.
Parliament has not been in session for 8 months. No one could stand against the Liberals in the HoC and hold their feet to the fire.
The current government is not listening to anyone.
@DillonWigmore@RodAVanier Rod does not understand that businesses do NOT pay taxes out of profits. Businesses consider tax an expense and increase prices to maintain their profit margins.
In a supply chain this could mean 3 or 4 levels of tax, or more, from suppliers to manufacturers to consumers.
@Loritmbf@abbasgirl74@CBCNews FYI, the little remote thingie has a button that allows you to change channels when there is something you don't want to watch.
Mine even has a button that turns it off when there is nothing worth watching.
@WeAreCanProud After reading the comments it is painfully clear that no one knows what NORAD stands for.
NORTH AMERICAN AIR DEFENSE.
Last I looked North America is Canada AND the US.
Team work is what makes the plan work.
@VoyceReason Please explain why you believe that dismissing a hypothetical is "belittling".
She asked a speculative question that would require a speculative answer.
Why do reporters always want to discuss what MIGHT happen rather than what IS happening?
@Baloneybutt@KirkLubimov Not moving the goalposts. Just asking you to flesh out the point form answers you provided.
Please explain, which of these are silly questions? And why?
@Martyupnorth_2 Anonymity on social media is the cause of most of the toxicity we endure online.
Few people would stand up in public and say the things they say on SM.
Being a part of the discussion should mean prepared for consequences of your comments.
@AaronGunn $75,000 per year, assuming a 40hr week.
There are no Canadian residents that are interested in $75k/yr?
Not one qualified Tim's employee that can be promoted to manager?
@Baloneybutt@KirkLubimov Does this include the 600M$ promised by the previous Liberal Gov, or is this in addition to?
"Purchase private rental units"... Who is selling those to the Liberals?
So they plan to purchase or build 26000 new homes (@ $500+\- sq ft), over what period of time?
@TheJasonPugh@PierrePoilievre Just how exactly would you answer that question?
A stupid question. Would you support a budget without reading it?
Sure Poilievre would have responded to a (male) reporter the same way.
@Baloneybutt@KirkLubimov Please show the math.
What will be the cost per unit?
How many homes are to be built?
Where will the 13.5B$ be spent?
If they are all lying, the real math must be easy.
@trot_to_hot@MarcNixon24 And what was the first thing Poilievre did?
Following Carney?
Which is what the post was about.
What was the first thing out of his mouth? (Poilievre's mouth)
So no lies. Just some people with difficulty reading, even with pictures.
@DillVack@MarcNixon24@PierrePoilievre@CPC_HQ In 5 years?
Carney is closing on his first year and we are supposed to hold elections every 4.
Basic math would suggest the Liberals would need to pull something pretty shady to hold power for 6 years without an election.
@MarcLevesqueEco@paulontherun@LoveMy7Wood I would think people are getting a bit concerned about credibility. No matter who ran the story or the picture, the optics for the PM are bad. "Spin-fatigue" is real. When the voters have no way of knowing what is true and what is not, they blame the subject not the source.
